This is Farzanah’s spiced and zingy porridge recipe and rather different from the traditional British version! It’s the blend of a hot shot, oats and fresh fruit. Perfect for a cold winter morning.
- Four apples
- Fresh ginger root
- A small piece of turmeric
- Two lemons
- Porridge oats
- Fresh fruit
- Juice 4 apples and blend with a palm sized piece of ginger, a finger piece of turmeric and two squeezed lemons to create a jug of zingy juice.
- Warm some oats with 1/2 a mug of the juice on a pan until warm.
- Top with some fruit and enjoy.
