At The London Lingual Orthodontic Clinic, we’re passionate about ensuring our patients end their treatment with teeth which are both straight and healthy.
If you do not have your own dental hygienist or want an appointment with a hygienist who is skilled in cleaning around braces, our qualified hygienist can provide professional teeth cleaning services to complement your orthodontic treatment, reaching in between the teeth and removing stains or discolouration.
As part of this service, we can also arrange for your hygiene appointment to be organised around your orthodontic appointment with Dr Chatoo. A joint appointment allows Dr Chatoo to remove your brace wires prior to seeing the hygienist, enabling the most thorough clean, and replace the new wires afterwards.
Those patients who have hygiene appointments will enjoy a prophy jet clean of their teeth. This is an air-polishing system in which baking soda and water are sprayed at the surfaces of the teeth, leaving them feeling clean and sparkling, both on the surface and interdentally too.
