Lingual Braces

The term ‘lingual’ refers to the attachment of braces on the inner surface of the tooth, where they cannot be seen. These custom braces sit behind the teeth so they are almost invisible and teeth are straightened without you worrying about your appearance.

Find out more about the various treatments and brace types below.

To discuss which option might be best for you, please contact the clinic on 020 7486 2883, or email us and we will get in touch.

Suresmile

SureSmile

An Orascanner, which is similar to a 3D camera, takes images of your teeth and sends them to a computer where a 3D model is created so we can plan your treatment highly efficiently. The arch wires of the Suresmile system are then bent to the right position by robots. Like our other systems, Suresmile offers a highly customised system for moving teeth.

Incognito

Incognito is a customised lingual brace system. Made from gold alloy, the brackets are both thin and exceptionally strong, making them less disruptive to speech than earlier lingual systems.

eBrace

One of the newer lingual systems which we are finding works very well for our patients. The customised eBrace brackets are designed with CadCam technology to help make them as effective as possible as well as making them less challenging for the tongue. There are three different types of eBrace, each one with its own different benefits.
