Spiced oat and ginger smoothie

An antidote to the cold, this recipe also has anti-inflammatory ingredients and can help balance the blood sugar, according to nutritionist Farzanah Nasser.

Method

Add all the ingredients below into a blender. Mix well and pour into a glass to serve, topped with bee pollen.

1 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground turmeric

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp almond butter

1 tablespoon shelled hempseed

1/2 a banana

1 cup oats milk
